TIMMY AND MARINA: THE THERAPY CATS
This is a memoir of two unusual and engaging cats who worked with Dr. McCoy in her private psychotherapy practice. Timmy, a Burmese mix, worked with depressed and anxious patients while Marina, a flame-point Siamese, excelled with couples and families in conflict, helping them to calm down and talk. This book describes animal-assisted therapy and the heart-warming and ultimately tragic life stories of these two very special cats.

SECOND WIND: REVITALIZING YOUR LOVE AND YOUR MARRIAGE
This guide for the long-married was inspired by Dr. McCoy's extensive work with couples that led her to two conclusions: that too many couples give up too soon, panicking when the relationship hits a rough patch or the doldrums after 10, 20 or 30 years or more, and that too many couples settle unnecessarily for lukewarm love and boring routines because they feel it's too late or too hard to change. This book will offer the reader Dr. McCoy's intensive "Get a Second Wind" Marriage Revitalization program that she uses with couples in her practice and in seminars.

THE CROCODILES WILL ARRIVE LATER
This is a memoir of a 1950's L.A. childhood with a mix of colorful characters, warmth and love, humor -- and terror.

SUNDAY THERAPIST: A MEMOIR OF CHANGE
She realized that she wanted to be a therapist the moment she successfully coaxed a psychotic woman out from under an aging Buick in a supermarket parking lot. This book tells the story from that moment to her adventures as a licensed therapist in a busy clinic and her private practice. It follows Dr. McCoy's metamorphosis from journalist to psychotherapist with humor and growing insights into what it really takes to be a good therapist and unexpected life lessons learned along the way.
